Yamaha Rhino Rear Frame Plugs
Rhino Frame Plugs cover the square holes in the back of the lower frame. I purchased these frame plugs thinking they would keep water and debris out of the frame since that part of my Rhino was always submerged under water and mud. What the frame plugs really do is keep the mud and water inside the frame. After a day of riding I pop one off and see that the inside of the frame is soaked and full of sand. This happened with the plugs in place because there is a hole in the frame somewhere else. So these plugs are useless. If I keep them on, over time my frame may rust from the inside out. The picture of the frame full of dirt was taken after riding about 30 times with the plugs on. If you have these on your Rhino, remove them and check for dirt and water build up inside the frame. If it is wet inside the frame keep them off until the moisture dries up or just throw them away. They look good, that's about it.

When buying accessories for your Rhino just remember that Yamaha spent millions of dollars and hours developing and manufacturing the Rhino and its parts. Is the aftermarket part you're buying really necessary or even worth it.
